COMBAT SPORTS IS MY THING

Former world champion Smilla Sundell has built her life in combat sports. She took ONE Championship Muay Thai gold at 17 and now brings that precision to MMA.

Smilla's picks follow the rules she fights by: clean lines, perfect balance, nothing wasted. In metal or acetate, every frame earns its place.

Smilla Sundell on Fighting, Focus, and Her Picks

How did you get started in Combat Sports?

I started Muay Thai at 11 and had my first pro fight at 12. At first I was the small girl in a gym full of big guys, and it was intimidating. It didn't take long before it felt like home.

Why MMA?

MMA is the next level, and I've wanted it for a long time. I studied the women in my weight class, then went and found the right coach in Ryan Diaz. He's guided my growth, and we're looking to make an impact and take over my weight class in the top leagues.

What keeps you going?

I push myself. After a hard fight, I'm already thinking about my next challenge, even if that's a marathon. I trust my instincts when it gets tough.

Why WALTER HILL?

Walter Hill feels authentic to me. The founders are combat sports fans at the core, and they make eyewear that complements me and my style.
